PhDs in fondamental or applied research in French academic
institutes are typically founded by Ministery of reaserch sclolarships
(3 years), National Agency of Research grants, CNRS, EC grants,
Regional grants, industrial contracts...
PhDs can be also conducted in the frame of a agrement between an
academic institute or a company.
Domain activities are typically foundament or appleid reasearch,
research and developpement, teaching, technical
management, engineering, high technology products sales and trades
in the fields of enegy production, trade and dispaching, energy
production systems (R&D, design and production) electrical
engineering (power electronics, actuators, generators for renewable
enrgy systems), automobile industry (generators and motors for
classical, hybrid or full-electral cars and trucks), aircraft industry
(power electronics, on-board networks), rail-way industry
(on-board and ground systems)...
